University Equestrianism
Every year around 2000 students take part in University Equestrianism of one form or another. This may be joining in for a lesson once a week for fitness reasons to joining the firsts polo team as a competitive members. Whatever the reason for joining the equestrian club at University and whichever horse-sport you are trying the over-riding concensus is that you are meeting up with like minded people, sharing your passion and bond for the horses and maybe indulging in a little socialising along the way! Horses as a sport are one of the most popular within the University sector and most riders overcome the need for access to facilities by joining the club whether they are taking it up for the first time or have competed all of their lives. Most Universities train and ride at large well respected centres the length of the country so you can be sure of nice horses and quality training.
